Cash Cow Factors NAB Cup 2009
The cash cow factor of 1.0 for the cash cow with the MOST potential for the year
ahead. So the closer to 1.0 the CCF is, these are players you must consider when
looking for the diamonds in the rough. The factor takes into account the total points
scored (and averages) during the four NAB cup and regional games (for those teams
knocked out) and their starting price or salary, then looks at the potential score
and price in the upcoming season.
Looking at last years top 10 players with the highest CCFs, it is evident that the
factor is highly accurate. Liam Anthony (KAN) had the highest CCF and ended up averaging
89 DT points. Greg Broughton (FRE) was next with 92 DT points. Their starting salaries were
$86600 and $75300 respectively.
Also, of last years top 10, Hayden Skipworth appreciated the least, and his price still went up 94% as
he had a higher starting salary or price.
Ignoring Jack Steven (STK) who couldn't get a game with eventual grand finalist
and everyone apart from Skipworth (ESS) appreciated atleast 181% in price.
