Season 2009 - Wrap Up
Richmond will field a vastly different team that finished a miserable 2009 where they won only
five games to finished in 15th spot.
The Tigers have last almost 1000 games of experience with
Jay Schulz,
Andrew Raines,
Joel Bowden,
Nathan Brown,
Mark Coughlan,
Kane Johnson and the great Matthew Richardson no longer with the club. They simply do not have much in the way of rising players to see anything but losing in the
next several years.

Under The Gun
For a player who averaged 96 in DT and 98 in SC whilst playing 19 games, to be under the gun may seem unwarranted. But
there doesn't seem to be much love for Shane Tuck at Richmond. They were intent on trading him but couldn't find any suitors
(for the right price). But another chance may be what Tuck needs to establish that he belongs and a fresh start from a new coach may
be exactly what he needs.
Burning Question: Can we finally get off Richard Tambling's back?
Probably not. When you get drafted before a hundred full forward superstar and his seventy goal sidekick, Tambling will
likely carry that for the rest of his career unless he has a Luke Hodge type emergence (out of Judd's shadow).
However, Tambling had a fantasy year averaging almost 90 DT and SC points. Half his games were 90+ but the letdown
was his inconsistency. Another year and another fews sessions with the pyschologist and, who knows, Tambling may
live up to being the number 2 pick in the national draft.
Some fantasy football stats for Richard Tambling:
Averages DT (89) SC (89)
High DT (122) SC (133)
Low DT (43) SC (20*) due to injury
90+ Points DT (10/20 SC (10/20)
Sub-70 Points DT (4/20) SC (3/20)
